We stayed at this beautiful lodge in the middle of a forest. It was exactly the peaceful and quiet retreat we were looking for. The hosts were kind and attentive, providing an umbrella when it rained and even picking us up when they saw us walking back. The lodge was well-equipped and serviced daily, with a fresh breakfast basket delivered each morning. The BBQ facilities allowed us to enjoy meals at our leisure. We loved the rustic charm of the lodge and the company of the birds, geckos, cats, and frogs. The mosquito net was a welcome addition.

    100% Recommend this hotel.

I had the most incredible stay at a charming cottage nestled in the forest. The peaceful surroundings allowed for total relaxation, and I hardly encountered any other guests during my stay. The views were simply breathtaking, with horses grazing freely on the farm, and even coming up to the cottages. The cottage itself was spacious and impeccably clean. The breakfast and dinners provided were delicious, with plenty of food to satisfy my appetite. The small pool on top of the hill offered stunning views and a perfect spot to cool off. Additionally, the proximity to the famous Seven Coloured Earth was a definite bonus.

Our stay at La Vieille Cheminee in Chamarel was worth every penny. The room was impeccably clean and well-equipped, with a comfortable bed and a fully stocked kitchen. The location was breathtaking, with stunning views from our terrace and plenty of hiking trails to explore. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating, providing us with a Wi-Fi router during the heavy rain and delivering delicious meals right to our apartment. The cozy atmosphere, complete with a romantic fireplace, made our stay even more enjoyable. We highly recommend this hidden gem.

The food for breakfast could be improved slightly, perhaps by adding more variety to the options available.

We had an amazing stay in this peaceful and secluded nature environment. The hotel's location is ideal for horse-back riders, with horses freely roaming around the farm. The property is impressively huge and offers great views of the mountains. The guest houses are private and clean, making us feel comfortable throughout our stay. The breakfast provided was really good and the option of a BBQ corner was a nice touch. The owner and staff were friendly and made us feel welcome. The poolside view was breathtaking and the sunset from the pool area was a highlight. We also appreciated the convenience of a small grocery shop on-site.

Can't fault the property in any way.

I had the most incredible stay at a beautiful lodge surrounded by nature. The peaceful atmosphere was exactly what I needed to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The hosts were incredibly kind and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. The lodge itself was rustic and charming, and I loved being able to spend evenings by the fire and watch the geckos on the ceiling. The breakfast basket delivered each morning was a delightful touch, and the home-cooked evening meals were delicious. The nearby swimming pool lodge offered breathtaking views and was the perfect spot to watch the sunset. While there were some mosquitoes, the bed came with a mosquito net, so it wasn't a major issue. I had a fantastic time and would highly recommend this lodge to anyone seeking a peaceful retreat in nature.

Amazing rustic cottage with beautiful views and a peaceful environment. The staff was friendly and helpful in suggesting activities. Plus, having horses on the farm was a great advantage for horseback riding enthusiasts. The breakfast with fresh fruits and breads delivered every morning was a nice touch.

There was a tremendous number of mosquitoes, so it's essential to bring mosquito repellent. Additionally, the lack of Wi-Fi availability in the cottages and the remote location, requiring a car for traveling to restaurants and supermarkets, were inconvenient aspects.
